Biofluidica, Inc. Co-Founder Steven Soper has been named to the National Academy of Inventors for the third year in a row. He was among 185 academic inventors named to the 2025 Class of NAI Fellows on December 11, 2025. Being named as an academy fellow is the highest professional award solely to academic directors.
Soper is known for developing technologies that advance precision medicine, particularly tools that analyze biological molecules like:
- DNA
- RNA
- Proteins
His research focuses on creating diagnostic technologies that help detect diseases earlier and more accurately. Dr. Soper will be presented his medal in June 2026 at the National Academy of Inventors 15th Annual Meeting.
